Embracing My Life Where it Is

I used to always think of myself as a city girl because I went to college in Boston. This is a little laughable now, considering how fussy I've gotten when it comes to being in close proximity to other people and my hyper-awareness of all possible dangers while moving through life with my four little children. I'll certainly travel with my husband more in the future when our children are grown, but these days, country life feels much more comfortable. I've found myself here. Becoming a mother has forced all of my armor to fall away and has allowed me the gift of authenticity. I am proud of every challenge that I've struggled and grown through. I'm learning to find peace with myself and I'm happy to embrace my grown-ness.
